Disruptive CO₂ capture technology surpassing state-of-the-art capture cost
Metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) offer a disruptive solution for point-source CO₂ capture, reducing energy demand by 2-3x compared to amines. Their low-temperature, low-pressure regeneration lowers operational costs, while the superior performance in humid conditions eliminates costly flue gas drying. MOFs enable smaller, modular capture units, making decarbonization more affordable and scalable. This presentation will highlight how the unique properties of novoMOF’s MOFs can be integrated with TSA, VPSA, PSA, and TVSA processes, and how this results in superior CO₂ capture cost and performance advantages within different industrial applications.
