Proven, precise and reliable trace moisture measurement for hydrogen and natural gas applications

BARTEC Analyzer Systems & Technology Stand: 5A40
Proven, precise and reliable trace moisture measurement for hydrogen and natural gas applications
BARTEC HYGROPHIL F

As hydrogen emerges as a key player in the global shift toward renewable energy and decarbonization, the need for accurate, reliable process monitoring becomes increasingly critical. Moisture content, in particular, plays a vital role in ensuring the safety, efficiency, and compliance of hydrogen production, storage, and grid injection. The BARTEC HYGROPHIL F 5674 Process Trace Moisture Analyzer has been developed specifically to meet these demands. Engineered for use in challenging environments—including unmanned, offshore, or load-following hydrogen facilities—this advanced analyzer delivers precise trace moisture measurements, supports safe gas grid integration, and complies with international standards. Its robust optical sensor technology, low maintenance requirements, and flexible installation options make it a trusted solution for long-term, trouble-free operation in the most demanding energy applications.

The BARTEC HYGROPHIL F 5674 is a high-precision Process Trace Moisture Analyzer designed for demanding hydrogen production and gas grid applications. Utilizing advanced optical thin-film technology, its robust sensor—featuring a Fabry-Pérot Interferometer made of silicon dioxide and zirconium dioxide—delivers fast, accurate moisture measurements even in harsh or unmanned environments. Resistant to water slugs and validated by accredited labs, the HYGROPHIL F 5674 ensures compliance with strict moisture limits (e.g., 50 mg/m³), preventing corrosion, hydrate formation, and other operational risks.

The system includes an evaluation unit with a high-resolution polychromator, offering real-time dew point, vapor pressure, and ppm readings. Multiple interface options—analog outputs, MODBUS, TCP/IP, and relays—ensure seamless integration with control systems. Optional features like a sensor retraction armature and customized sample conditioning systems simplify maintenance and installation. Certified for hazardous locations (ATEX, IECEx, CSA), the HYGROPHIL F 5674 offers proven reliability, long service life, and cost-effective performance in renewable energy and industrial gas applications.
