SINGULUS TECHNOLOGIES presents advanced thin-film coating and wet-processing solutions for hydrogen and clean energy applications at Hydrogen Technology World Expo 2025 in Hamburg

SINGULUS TECHNOLOGIES will showcase its latest innovations for vacuum thin-film coating and wet-processing technologies at the Hydrogen Technology World Expo in Hamburg. With decades of expertise in precision surface treatments, the company is positioned as a key technology partner for enabling high-performance components in hydrogen, photovoltaic, and carbon capture applications.

At booth B7 7D57, SINGULUS TECHNOLOGIES will highlight its solutions for the hydrogen economy, focusing on bipolar plates for fuel cells and electrolyzers. Advanced precision coatings and chemical pre-treatments ensure high efficiency, durability, and reliability of these critical components. Among the highlights are:

  • VISTARIS – PVD inline sputtering system with vertical substrate transport
  • GENERIS – PVD inline sputtering system with horizontal substrate transport
  • SILEX BPP – Fully automated wet-chemical system for cleaning, residue removal, and enhanced pretreatment

Beyond hydrogen, SINGULUS TECHNOLOGIES is also driving innovation in photovoltaics, offering turnkey solutions for HJT, TOPCon, Perovskite/Tandem PV as well as Thin-Film PV (CdTe, CIGS). The company provides a broad range of processes, including:

  • Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD: RF, DC, pulsed-DC, bipolar, RF+DC, HiPiMS)
  • Plasma-Enhanced Chemical Vapor Deposition (PECVD: CCP, ICP)
  • Thermal evaporation (point and linear sources, closed-space sublimation)
  • Annealing under defined atmosphere
  • Wet chemistry (cleaning, texturing, deposition)

Another focus is Carbon Capture, where SINGULUS TECHNOLOGIES leverages its expertise in wet and thermal processes, as well as air and gas flow systems, to support a wide range of CO₂ capture technologies. This includes solutions based on alkaline and bicarbonate processes, chemical absorption with amine-functionalized solid filters, solid sorbents such as MOFs, and advanced membrane technologies. These processes align closely with the company’s core competencies and enable unique process combinations to address global decarbonization needs.

With its portfolio, SINGULUS TECHNOLOGIES demonstrates how cutting-edge coating and wet-processing solutions can contribute to the sustainable transformation of energy and industrial processes.
