David Linsley-Hood is the Technical and Innovation Director at Locogen Consulting. He has over 20 years of experience in renewable energy system design, project development, training, and consultancy. David is a Chartered Engineer and Environmentalist with a strong focus on delivering innovative renewable energy projects. He leads the technical delivery across the full range of consultancy services at Locogen, with a specific focus on innovation and the development of new services. David has led a wide range of projects across the full project lifecycle, including the installation of complex systems involving single and hybrid renewable technologies1. He is currently Locogen’s Hydrogen technical lead and has been involved in the delivery of the feasibility, design, and construction of the first green hydrogen distillery conversion. This project involved the construction of a wind turbine to power the electrolysis process, which in turn feeds hydrogen to a modified steam boiler. David has also led projects involving smart networks and off-grid energy systems for commercial, public, and community-led developments in remote parts of Scotland.
