Rodolfo Christiansen
Scientific Researcher,
Leibniz Institute for Applied Geophysics (LIAG)
Dr. Rodolfo Christiansen is a geophysicist at the Leibniz Institute for Applied Geophysics (LIAG) in Germany, with experience exploring for natural hydrogen in several African countries, the Pyrenees, and California. He develops open-source software that integrates geophysics, thermodynamics, and geochemistry to identify and evaluate subsurface hydrogen-generating systems. His work combines 3D inversion, petrophysical modeling, and advanced interpretation techniques to support cost-effective exploration strategies. Rodolfo is also the lead geoscientist developing the geophysical component of the EU-funded HyAfrica project, advancing the understanding of natural hydrogen processes.
