Somendra Pandey, Global Head of Business Development at Siemens Energy, has over 18 years of international experience across the energy value chain—from field service and engineering design, to commercial strategy and global sales. With a career that has spanned every major region worldwide, he brings deep insight into both mature and emerging energy markets.
Currently he is supporting Siemens Energy with its proven technologies across the hydrogen value chain, including electrolyzer systems, compression, transport, and storage. With a technical background in rotating and turbomachinery equipment—including centrifugal and reciprocating compressors, as well as gas turbines—combined with strategic expertise in hydrogen production and infrastructure, he plays a key role in shaping commercially viable, scalable hydrogen solutions.
Somendra is passionate about turning innovation into impact and building sustainable energy systems through global partnerships, practical execution, and visionary leadership.
