What time does the Conference and Expo open?

Exhibition Opening Times:

Where is the Expo and Conference held? 

The conference and expo is held at the Hamburg Messe - MESSEPLATZ 1, 20357 HAMBURG, GERMANY

B Halls

EAST Entrance (Hall B4)- Bei den Kirchhöfen/St. Petersburger Straße, Hamburg Germany

SOUTH ENTRANCE (Hall B6) - Karolinenstraße 20-22 20357, Hamburg Germany

The Hydrogen Conferences are located in Upper B3 & B4 and are accessed via the stairs/escalators on Lower B4.

The Carbon Capture Conference is located in hall B6.

Which Taxi Service shall I use?

Taxi Services

There is a taxi rank outside the Entrances Central for drop off and pick ups

Which Entrance shall I use? 

Please use either:

East Entrance 
(Bei den Kirchhöfen/St. Petersburger Straße)

OR

South Entrance 
(Karolinenstraße, Hall B6)

Where can I Park? 

There is no free parking at the Hamburg Messe + Congress. There are public car parks where attendees can park.


You will find up to 3,500 parking spaces in the multi-storey car parks Mitte (Lagerstraße), Car Park West (Lagerstraße, behind Hall A3) and Heiligengeistfeld (Feldstraße / Glacischaussee). Detailed information on the individual parking options is provided Here.

As not all parking spaces are permanently available and to avoid traffic jams at peak times, we recommend using public transport of the Hamburger Verkehrsverbund (HVV). 

If you are coming by car from outside Hamburg, it is best to use one of the many P+R stations.

The Hamburg Messe campus is well connected, thanks to its central location. You may arrive by commuter train ("S") or underground (“U") or arrive on foot from the nearby Dammtor mainline train station. You can register online through our official website. Early registration is recommended to secure your entry and receive updates about the Carbon Capture expo agenda, keynote speakers, and Carbon Capture Technology exhibitors.

Is there a cost to attend the Expo?

Visitor entry to the exhibition is free of charge. However, access to the Carbon Capture Technology Conference requires a paid pass.

Press Pass/Media Requests

Any press pass requests can be sent to marketing@trans-globalevents.com. Our press list will be released a few weeks out from the event upon request once it is finalised.

Conference Pass Invoices/Receipt Requests

If someone books a conference ticket, they have the option of either receiving an invoice or paying by credit card. Sometimes people lose their invoice and need it resent or they need the details on the invoice changed. If this happens, please email registrations@trans-globalevents.com. Your receipt will be sent once your booking has been confirmed. If you need the receipt to be resent please email registrations.

Fast Track Pass entry Tickets

If you book a free Visitor pass, you will receive their Fast Track Pass once you complete registration. If you book a conference ticket, you will receive your Fast Track Pass once their registration has been paid. If you pay via credit card, you will receive your Fast Track Pass immediately. If you opt to receive an invoice, the Fast Track Pass will be sent once the invoice has been paid. If you lose your Fast Track Pass, you can contact the registrations team (registrations@trans-globalevents.com) and we can resend it. If it’s a conference booking, their payment has been received first. If it’s a free visitor booking, you can request a lost Fast Track Pass at any time.

Visa Invitation Letter Requests

If you need an invitation letter to support your visa application, please get in touch with our registrations team. They’ll send you an application form to fill out.

Once you’ve completed the form, send it back to the team. We’ll then prepare your invitation letter.

Just a heads-up: we can only issue invitation letters if you provide a valid business email address (personal emails like Gmail, Yahoo, or Hotmail won’t be accepted) and a legitimate business website.

If we receive your form without valid business information, unfortunately, we won’t be able to process your request.

Group discounts are available for 2 passes or more please see below:

Post Conference Proceedings

Post conference proceedings are available to anyone who has registered for a conference pass. Once the conference concludes all conference delegates will receive an email with info on how to access all conference proceedings across both out Hydrogen Technology Event and our Carbon Capture Technology Event.

Accessibility Points

Step free access is available at both Entrances.

Toilets accessible to disabled persons can be found in these locations:
Lower Halls B6, B7, B5, B4.

Where is Registration?

Registration is located at the EAST ENTRANCE & SOUTH ENTRANCE’S

Please bring your FastTrack pass to self-scan at registration to collect your badge.

Where is the Organisers Office?

If you require any assistance during the event, the Organizer’s Office is located at the EAST ENTRANCE.

We are pleased to offer you basic complementary printing services please visit us at the Organiser’s Office for assistance.

Are there any Special Events During the Show?

We invite you to join us for the Networking Drinks Party sponsored by Hystar AS from 16:30 on Tuesday 21st October, located in Hall B5, stand #5B40

Is there First Aid Available?

Will there be Food and Drink?

Snack bars/ food outlets are located in all lower B Halls and in our outdoor food court located between Halls B5 & B7.

Is there a Smoking Area?

Smoking is strictly prohibited in the exhibition halls. There are ashtrays in the outdoor areas where you may smoke

Can I Charge my Phone?

There are no permanent charging stations provided at the Hamburg Messe + Congress at this time.

For any lost or found property please go to the Organizer’s Office is located at the East Entrance.

Will there be food available to buy?

We have a food court outside by Halls B5 / B7.
